Two Left Feet

“Jerry” came into the CCC for back pain that was preventing him from working. He was seen by a Winston-Salem State University physical therapy student. Jerry had a prosthetic leg. It was duct taped on, the wrong color, several inches shorter than his other leg, and the wrong leg. He literally had “2 left feet.” He had received this prosthetic when the former owner passed away. The WSSU PT team was able to get him fitted with a new prosthetic that was the correct leg, right fit, right color. It was perfect. His back pain went away, and he was able to work again.
