Meet Tam
January 23rd, 2025

“It was because of health facilities like the CCC and other nonprofits that my family members are now thriving. I knew I wanted to pay it forward.”
Minh-Tam Le joined the CCC staff in June of 2021 as a Physician Assistant. Read her journey to the CCC in her own words.
“Growing up, I gravitated toward the medical field. I found out about the PA profession during my sophomore year of college but didn’t seriously consider it until I was a public health graduate student at Georgia Washington University.
“I graduated from the Wake Forest School of Medicine PA Program in 2020. I’ve always wanted to work with the underserved community. I have multiple family members who immigrated to the US after the Vietnam War. It was because of health facilities like the CCC and other nonprofits that we are now thriving members of society. I knew I wanted to pay it forward. The stars aligned and I found the CCC. From my first day, the staff and volunteers have been kind and supportive. I love coming to work and making a difference in the community.
“Because of my background in public health, preventive care is big on my list. Thus, I worked with coworkers to start a Hepatitis B vaccine clinic this year. As a PA, I treat my patients in a holistic manner and partner with them to build a healthier future for them. It is important to me that my patients receive compassionate and high-quality care at the CCC. I enjoy caring for and developing relationships with my patients and their families over multiple generations. Sometimes, we spend the first few minutes just catching up on life and sharing photos. The CCC is a wonderful home for this PA, and I’m blessed to have found my work family.”
