Winston-Salem, NC \u2013 Commemorating its sixth year, Bank of America\u2019s Neighborhood Champions\u00ae program and extension of its Neighborhood Builders program, which is commemorating its 20th year, provides multiyear flexible grant funding annually to high-impact nonprofits in nearly 40 communities nationwide. In the Triad, Bank of America has named Community Care Center as its local 2024 Neighborhood Champion for its work providing free healthcare to those in need.<\/p>\n
As a Neighborhood Champion, Community Care Center is awarded a $50,000 grant over two years, leadership training resources for the organization\u2019s executive director, access to technical coaching and a national network of nonprofit peers.<\/p>\n
\u201cProviding Community Care Center with flexible funding and leadership training helps them address critical needs and create meaningful lasting change in our communities,\u00bb said Greg Cox, president, Bank of America Triad. \u201cThis year we celebrate six years of strengthening nonprofits that provide solutions to local challenges and promote economic advancement through Neighborhood Champions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Community Care Center provides free healthcare to those who are unable to afford it. Since 2000, they have served over 25,000 patients with medical care delivered with compassion, sensitivity, and respect. The Community Care Center\u2019s team of dedicated healthcare professionals volunteer their time and expertise to provide high-quality care, including primary, dental, and vision care, mental health services, and medication.<\/p>\n
