Since stepping into the interim role in December 2025, David has provided experienced, steady leadership during an important period for CCC. Working closely with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, healthcare partners, and supporters, he has helped strengthen clinic operations, sharpen focus on organizational effectiveness, and position CCC for continued growth and impact.
David brings four decades of executive leadership, strategic planning, business development, marketing, and board experience to the role. A Certified Interim Executive and Senior Advisor with Armstrong McGuire, he has led several North Carolina nonprofit organizations through periods of transition, including serving as Interim CEO of Aldersgate United Methodist Retirement Community and Carolina Raptor Center and Interim Executive Director of Mustard Seed Community Health.
His extensive private-sector career has included leadership roles as President & CEO of EPCOR Business Centers, Chief Marketing Officer of French/West/Vaughan, Executive Vice President of ALLIANCE Business Centers NETWORK, Vice President of YourOffice USA, and EVP/Chief Operating Officer of Pemberton.
David also has a long history of community and nonprofit leadership. He served as Chairman of Special Olympics North Carolina and on the board of the 1999 Special Olympics World Games, in addition to chairing numerous regional, national, and international boards throughout his career.
A graduate of Wake Forest University, where he earned a B.A. in Politics & International Affairs and served as Student Body President, David brings both deep North Carolina roots and a lifelong commitment to leadership and service.
“Over the past nine months, David has demonstrated the kind of thoughtful, steady and strategic leadership that Community Care Clinic needs for its next chapter. He understands both the importance of our mission and what it takes to build a strong organization capable of sustaining that mission for years to come. The Board has tremendous confidence in David, and we are excited to have him continue leading CCC as our Executive Director and CEO.”
— Rob DiBella, Chair, Community Care Clinic Board of Directors
As Executive Director/CEO, David will lead CCC into its next chapter, building on more than 25 years of service while strengthening partnerships, supporting the exceptional staff and volunteers, and ensuring that uninsured and underserved members of our community continue to have access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare.
We are grateful for the leadership David has already provided as Interim Executive Director/CEO and excited about what lies ahead.
Please join us in congratulating David and welcoming him officially to his new role!
